A weekend review

We had a super fun weekend starting on Thursday with my SIL Laura and her best friend Jennifer coming over for dinner (hence the improvision below) for homemade enchiladas. Friday we had a quiet night in, Saturday Patrick was lucky enough to get tickets for the March Madness game here and later that night we went over to game night with friends, and today we went to mass, relaxed, and hosted another dinner party! Our little Fishy

This past weekend we were super busy with a spring training game, March madness, and a church festival.... none of our fun caught on camera! Bummer! Here are a few pics from tonight: Caroline in the first outfit her daddy bought her (intended for this summer, but fits now!) and a pic and video of our little bathtub fishy! Yep, she is standing, leaning on the rocker, but standing no less!

There has been an explosion of babies on my mom's side of the family lately and last night my cousin Amy (the last one of us pregnant within the year....SO FUN) delivered a healthy baby boy! Rhyder Joseph arrived at 9:34 PM (Eastern) and weighed 8.5 lbs and was 21 inches....Big Boy! Congrats Amy and Rick we are so happy for you and cannot wait to meet Rhyder in May!

Happy St Patrick's Day!

I scoured the city for a cute green tee for Caroline with a cute saying, but with absolutely no luck! Today at target they had a sale rack (not sure where they were before the Sale?!) and this tee was on a 12 month hanger, figured it would be big, but do-able.....when I got home I noticed the tag said 24 months....ARGH! Enjoy, guess you will see next year too! :)

3 month pics

I picked up Caroline's 3 month pictures today, and they turned out much cuter than I thought! Here is my snapshot of the snapshots!

Big Changes

This week proved lots of changes in the Stover household! First of all the pack and play has been taken down and put away, so Caroline is officially sleeping in her own bed! She also has an established bedtime (between 7 and 8) which we let her take the lead on....after a few fussy nights in a row, we finally got the hint! Sorry C we are new parents, and learning slow! She now sleeps for about 5 hours to start the night, and after a feeding goes down for three to four hours.....so mom is much happier! Lastly baby Car has become quite the conversationalist, she is quite the talker, and drooler these days!

Cowboys

We had such a fun weekend! Friday night we met up with our friends Jim and Jen and after touring her super cute new renovated pad, we headed to the Vig for a few drinks! Thanks to Nana and Papa for their babysitting skills. Saturday night we met up with our dear friends Kerry and Ryan, who were in town without the kiddos, at the Four Seasons for a drink and then went to a cowboy bar for dinner! Aunt Laura watched Caroline for the first time, and they both had a great time! It is always nice to see old friends and to get a little time away as a couple! Just us at dinner

Just Ducky!

Just a quick snapshot tonight after Caroline's bath! I picked up a ducky hooded towel at our church's consignment sale last weekend, and she loves it! She also loved the early Easter presents that arrived today from Grandma Maurer, foam bath letters for the tub walls, no more looking at white tile!

*Forgot to update you on her 3 month check up.....she now weighs 13 pounds, 2.5 ounces!

Air Force Academy

The guys just returned from a visit (Patrick's christmas present) to Smokey's alma mater, the Air Force Academy! They had a great weekend of touring the school, attending a basketball game, Smokey getting recognized as a player and alumni at halftime, and having dinner and cocktails with the team. Glad you had fun, we are glad to have you home Daddy!
