Early Easter

Caroline got an early Easter gift tonight from Nana (and Paw-Paw too)! It fit perfectly in an Easter egg! Can you guess what it was........

Last Saturday our little family packed up and went to the farmers market for a fun little morning out. We enjoyed each other, the beautiful weather, and got a few goodies as well! Caroline got a darling flower for her hair, we got some AMAZING pulled pork (which didn't last long), and Heisman scored some Bowser Beer (yep, even pooches deserve a cold one every once in a while).

Orange'Ya glad it's Sunday!

We are sure excited it is Sunday, cause that means in three days we will be in the most beautiful city in the world (so mama's a bit partial)! I cannot believe my little girl has not yet been to my favorite place on earth, but that is all about to change! Chuck-town here we come!

I am crazy about this little girl and I love dressing her up in all things personalized! I picked up another bathing suit for her (hey, what can I see we swim A LOT in the summer) and felt like it needed a little something! SO.....I had it personalized for her! I just love the way it turned out! does anyone else have the "itsy-bitsy, teenie-weenie" song in their head

WeEkEnD WrAp-Up!

Another weekend over, DARN! We had a busy one!

Today the first fun news is that our friends Jim and Jen are ENGAGED! That engagement ring has been hiding :) in our guest room for a few days, and we are SO happy that Jen is now sporting it on her finger! We can't wait for the big day, CONGRATS guys! **WARNING** Major Cuteness alert

I picked up these for Car for Spring, I wish they had my size!
Caroline and I were bored this afternoon while Daddy took a nap, so we went shopping of course! We found this cute camp chair for Caroline, and she loves sitting in it to watch her favorite TV shows!

It is just her size (and her favorite color)!

Lastly, Patrick's dad goes to the hospital tomorrow for a knee replacement, please keep him in your prayers! *His mom actually was admitted to the hospital today as well, so prayers for both would be lovely!

Gymboree

Today Caroline and I went to her first Gymboree class. She really liked climbing on all of the obstacles, running around, the balls, and was mesmorized by all of the younger kids. She was not as interested in the bubbles or the songs in a circle, since she wanted to be On the Go! My camera died 5 minutes into class, so here are the three pics I captured!

First Word

We are confirming it folks, Caroline's first word is:

HEISMANShe has been saying Ma-Ma and Da-da for a long while now, but we just don't feel like those count (everyone says those first right?!)

She has always been a big fan of our dog Heisman, but just recently has become an even BIGGER fan! Heisman lives outside in the backyard, so they have somewhat limited contact, but now every time we open the back door she start yelling Heis, Heis, Heis (I have to admit she sounds German)and goes bolting for the dog! They have become such good little buddies!

Bribery

Yesterday I recieved my latest babystyle email (New or expecting moms you need to register online with them so every week they can tell you how big your baby is (compared to a friut) or what milestones they should be hitting)! WEll, I can't beleive it but Caroline is 15 Months Old!

This is what my latest update said:"Doing errands around town is harder than ever with a pint-size explorer in tow. Being strapped down in a car seat or stroller is the last place your toddler wants to be: Expect an earful — usually accompanied by an arched back and flailing arms and legs — when it's time to buckle up. This is partly because about 90 percent of all toddlers are walking by now (late walkers will catch up in the next month or two), which means they'd much rather be practicing their footwork than sitting still."

Well, NO KIDDING! Patrick and I have moved to bribery whenever we put this little mover and shaker in the car now! Thank goodness she is easy to please, just a few pretzels and we are off!
