6 Months

How is it possible that this BIG guy is half a year old already?!?!? He is the easiest baby, so happy, calm, and just so kissable! He is eating a ton of baby food (about 2-3 jars a day plus rice cereal), drinks about 6oz of milk 4-5 times per day and still gets some Mommy's milk. We are having some sleeping issues (much like his sisters) and he is waking two-three times per night, BUT he is finally in his own room, so hopefully that will change soon! He wears 12 month clothes, size 3 diapers, and loves to chew on everything. He is really close to crawling, rocks on his hands and knees and scoots on his belly pretty darn fast. He rolls over back to belly and belly to back over and over and still does not have any interest in sitting up. Still no teeth, but is drooling a LOT, so I think we are close. We love having you in our family big guy, you are  the most lovable little guy we could have been blessed with!!

getaways, good weather, and great friends

Last weekend we headed North, with an invitation from our dear friend's Jim and Jen, and enjoyed the amazing weather, good food, and great company! We spent lots of time at the park, sitting on the deck, cooking and eating yummy foods,   watching movies in the movie room, and just relaxing! Thanks so much for having us J and J, it was just the weekend we needed!

We stopped by the fire station next to the park and got a little tour of the firetrucks.....SO FUN!!

Paige's bridal shower

The other fantastic reason for leaving the girl's and Patrick and heading East was to throw a wedding shower for Paige. It was a beautiful day with the ladies, and so nice to meet all of her lovely bridesmaids before the Big Day! Paige (and Tommy) got lots of wonderful gifts, and we are excited for October to get here!!

Tommy's BDAY

I didn't want to miss my little brother turning 30, so I hopped on a plane to Atlanta (with Coop) and went to celebrate his birthday as well as check out his and Paige's new house. It was so great to see everyone and celebrate Tom's birthday, I only wish Jimmy and his family were in town too! Of course I begged my best-est friend Claire to come down from Tennessee to see us, and like an awesome friend she did, which made the weekend even better! (I always put her to work every time she comes in town, I owe her big by now:)!

Always on our toes

this little cutie climbs into and on EVERYTHING (her new favorite climbing spot is in the dryer) and sure keeps us on our toes!

Kelley's BDay

My BIL Kevin organized a cooking class for Kelley's birthday in Seattle on the last weekend of our trip up North. We started the festivities by grabbing a drink at one of her favorite bar's, Kel's, and met up with all of her Seattle friends and family.
Laura got to live out her dream of becoming a waitress
Then it was off to the market to shop for the ingredients for the cooking class

The food was DELICIOUS and the company was fantastic...so happy to be there to celebrate you Kel!

Turtle Rock (6th addition)

One of our favorite trips during the summer is our annual family trip to Turtle Rock. This year we had an extra special reason to celebrate...Kelley's 40th Birthday!
Kelley's special meal included homemade brushetta and stuffed pork roast, DELICIOUS!
