Gender Reveal
What an amazing, fun, and super EXCITING night for our dear friends! Last night we found out the sexes of the LONG awaited "S" babies!
We decided long ago to find out in the delivery room what the sex of our babies would be, and while that was an unmatched indescribable feeling, this is certainly a runner up----finding out being surrounded by all those that love you best! We were thrilled to be there to celebrate these two beautiful babies and the beginning of a wonderful journey!
Patrick guessing the sex of Baby A and Baby B and their names (he guessed 2 boys named Patrick and Lane.....HMMMM)

crafty crafty
Tonight I was all caught up on work, while the hubbs had some work of his own to do......so I had a little time to craft once Caroline went to sleep! I have been wanting to "fix up" Caroline's ever increasing bow collection (especially since she loves to pull the ribbon down and take them all off) and tonight I finally had the chance.
Here is the Before and After:
We have been praying and hoping right alongside our friends for several years now as they tried to get pregnant, and tomorrow they are having a gender reveal party to celebrate the first milestone in this journey of having TWINS! I am so super excited, so I made myself a shirt for the party (I think "baby A" will be a girl and "baby B" will be a boy)! We are suppossed to dress in the colors we think they will have!
And for all of the cards, scriptures, pictures, etc that they recieve I made them a blessing ring (their last name starts with an S) to help display them, and keep them all in one place (you know how much I love to be organized)!

a litttle piece of Heaven
Saturday I met up with my friend Emily and we headed to the spa (our Mother's Day gift from our hubbies)! We had the best day of sun, the pool, yummy spa food, cocktails, a massage, the hot tub, and friendship. *Ladies, Em and I decided this needs to be a yearly Mother's Day tradition! The boys had a little day of golf, betting on the ponies, and the pool.....better known as the Frat Guy Open! *Just a little sidenote, the golf tournament was single guys vs. married guys, and I am happy to report the married guys clenched it!
Sunday we dropped Caroline off and had the whole day to do WHATEVER WE WANTED!!!! That my friends, was our first day together without Caroline (aside from our trips to Maui and Park City) since she has been born! We leave her with sitters, but it has always been for night events! We lived it up: went to Houstons for lunch, the art museum, walked around Kierland, and had afternoon cocktails at Tommy Bahama's!
***A special shout out to Aunt Laura and the Williamsons for giving us a little break, while loving on and entertaining our little love bug!
AND.....what's a post without a picture.....so here is ANOTHER bathing suit I picked up for Caroline at a consignment store today!

Family Night at the Park
We found a GREAT park by our house today and decided to let Caroline try it out tonight after work! They have 2 really nice playgrounds with covered shade, ride on cars, cooking pavillions, a skate park, and a splash pad! Caroline had fun on the slides and even ventured into the splash pad for a bit! I have a feeling Grandma and Caroline will be spending a lot of time here this summer!

Greek Fest
We had such a fun afternoon at the Salsa festival last weekend that we decided to rejoin our friends Elizabeth and Angelo and go to the Greek festival today! We had Gyros, flaming cheese, greek salad, and went on a few rides! Caroline and I went on the potato sack slide and she loved it, so Patrick took her on it a second time.....this time she was not quite sure! I forgot my camera, but caught them on my phone!

Derby Day
Since we could not make it to KY this year for the Derby we brought the Derby to us! We had a fun Derby party complete with friends, southern food, betting, yard games, TV watching, and of course some cocktails! I was not good about taking pictures, so here are a few from the end of the day!
