Camp T

Last weekend we packed up the girls, packed a picnic lunch, and headed north to Camp TontaZona to watch the Sun Devils play. The girls did great on the trip and had fun playing while the big kids watched the game! I think we will make that day trip an annual deal, it was really fun, especially since we met up with the Dettmer family!

Exciting news!

 For the past few weeks Caroline has been waking up every morning and asking if today is the day?! SO.....I figured the best way to count down the days would be to make a paper chain together and each morning she can rip off one chain until the Big Day arrives! 

 ANY guesses as to what we are counting down?

 YES, we are very excited to announce that our family will be expanding again! We cannot wait to welcome this little person and see what our family will look like(cause this is it folks)!

We will stick with tradition and not find out the sex! My due date is February 25th. Patrick and I have always wanted loud family holidays with lots of littles around, so we are thrilled to be adding another little love into our lives!

We had a really great weekend packed full of parties and swimming! Friday night we headed to our favorite neighborhood spot, Mellow Mushroom, for a family dinner. Saturday we went over to swim and celebrate a birthday at our friend's Jim and Jen's house, and Sunday we headed to Paw-Paw's to swim, visit with the Yuman's who were in town to look at a puppy, and eat some yummy ribs! Caroline is getting really brave in the pool and becoming a really good swimmer. She started with her swimmies but they were off before long, and she must have gone down the slide 30 or more times!

11 Months

 Baby Girl (I guess we can't call you that much longer!) you are going to be 1 Years Old in less than a month! This year seemed to fly by and while it was a joy raising and loving you this year, we know the years only get more fun! Mama has been busy preparing for a very special birthday celebration for you, and you have been very busy walking!!!! *You are up to about 14 steps! We Love you sweet girl! 

Summer's over!

It was a big day in our house today! Patrick went back to work, Scarlett went back to Nada'a, and Caroline started her second year of pre-school! She was so excited to help pack her lunch this morning and to get to see all of her friends again! She has the same teacher as last year (Mrs Rebekah) which we were really glad about! We know she will learn a lot and have another really great year!

 Grandpa had a meeting in town this week so we got to spend a little time with him before and after his work stuff. Grandpa brought some gifts with him and he and Caroline had fun reading the books over AND OVER!

Olympic Fever

 We have major Olympic Fever in our house! We kicked off the games with an opening ceremony party at Aunt Laura's house and since then Caroline has been up LATE every night watching the different events! The other day Patrick took the girls to the children's museum and Caroline made a gold medal in the Art Room that she has been wearing proudly ever since!

We had a great time in Ruidoso, NM a few weeks back when we headed over to take part in a Bostian (My MIL's side) family reunion! We rented a big house in the woods and enjoyed lots of family time! The kids made GOOD use of the hot tub, and even watched a Big BEAR cross the backyard while swimming one night! WOWZERS! There were tons of deer around our house, the kids and adults loved all the wildlife. We celebrated a few Kane birthdays, hit the horse track (Patrick Ryan was the big winner), went for a family walk, had a few dinner parties, had a movie night, and finished the weekend with a big family picnic and fish fry! Delicious!
