This Halloween day is certainly not what we had expected, but so is life I guess. My Mother in Law is currently at Hospice, so we spent the day there as a family. While our thoughts were not on candy, costumes, and trick or treater's, our day was spent with family which made our holiday different than expected, but perhaps much better. Please keep our family in your prayers.

Pumpkin Patch
I had a vision of the perfect picture, my little girl all doll'd up frockling among the pumpkins, posed next to cornstalks and bales of hay, and smiling from ear to ear........we got a lost bow, a cockeyed pony, and little girl much more interested in EVERYTHING but looking at me, and a SUPER far patch which caused for darkness.............BUT the night was really fun!
this place is like a SUPER farm, including a hayride train, pony rides, 5 roller coaster/rides, a carosel, pig races, a playground, a band, and a cookout! We didn't do it all, but Caroline loved the band (of course) and the train.
next year I think we plan on spending a whole day here!

Ode to Paw-Paw
There once was a girl whose Paw-Paw was a Pilot
So when her mama saw a bomber jacket, she just had to try it!
She looked super cute, more than ever before
It might just have been her favorite thing that she wore!

Pinkalicious
***UpDATE: computer is back so more pictures below!!!
On Saturday morning I headed to our church for their yearly kids conseignment sale. I got a few things for Caroline, and oh how it warmed my heart that she wanted to put them all on immediately! I love having a daughter, and can't wait to do lunch dates and shopping outings in a few years! Here she is sporting her new brown mary jane's and jean jacket....if only Fall would hurry up!
Sunday afternoon we headed to the Valley Youth Theatre for their fall show: PiNkAlIcIoUs! We were unsure how she would do, but she did GREAT! She sat still most of the show, had a few treats, clapped, and danced along to the music! We can't wait to take her to the Winnie the Pooh Christams Tale in December! Thanks for the tickets Aunt Laura!
we are ready for the show!
After the show we made a quick pit stop at Aunt Laura's for a homemade cookie and to show off our little PINK darling!

After the show we brought Caroline home for a late nap, we heard a little stirring at first, but eventually it got quiet. Two hours later we went in and found her wide awake (she had not slept a wink) and was quietly playing in her crib. The funny thing was her crib was full of toys! She has a toy basket on the floor next to her crib, but she is unable to reach them... or so we thought! We have no idea how she got them all (including heavy ones) in her bed, and SO QUIETLY!
