So we are a week or so into introducing rice cereal (we took some time off since we had a crazy week with Smokey's big party and had so much family in town) and while I am not sure how much she is getting in her belly yet, she has managed to hold her spoon!

All three of us are a bit under the weather today (Patrick went to bed for the night at 4:30!) but even with a cold this little girl is HAPPY!

Pool Time

Last Thursday Patrick and I decided to take Caroline to the pool for her first swim! It was still a little chilly so she was not quite sure about it, she sure did look cute though in all her gear! After a few hours P and C left for home while I headed to the spa....SO GREAT! (It was spa week in town, so all the treatments were at deep discounts) We went swimming again on Sunday with all Caroline's cousins and she LOVED it!

Spring Break 09

Spring Break 09 is over for Patrick and Caroline! They had a great week together playing with the Kane kids, relaxing, and getting ready for Paw-Paw's 70th Birthday party! Here is how I found them one day after work.....raising a baby is hard work!

Happy Easter! We had a great day going to church as a family and then having the extended family over for lunch/brunch! No bunny at our house this year, but I am sure he/she will make a stop next year! Sweet Cheeks in her Easter Dress

Caroline slept right through our yummy meal (which meant we all got to eat with two hands, YEA!)
Not sure what we did before Caroline.....we spent the afternoon watching her (at one point she was even in the middle of the table)....although how could you know watch that chubby cuteness!

OOPS!

I had my first overnight last Wednesday Night so Daddy had to hold down the fort solo! He did a great job on his first night alone, just one cute thing I had to share! Daddy's are so Funny! This is How Mommy would have dressed C for school on Thursday!

Catching Up

Caroline has been waking up quite a lot the last week, so to help mommy and daddy get more sleep we started Caroline on rice cereal! Not sure how much she got in her belly, but she enjoyed making a mess and chatting with me as I fed her! We also got the stationary entertainer out to add one more thing to help us entertain her! She is still too little (her legs are no where near the floor) but she loved all the colors and sounds!

Above Average

We know already that when it comes to cute-ness Caroline ranks way above the curve.....apparently every aspect of her little (or BIG) self has followed suit!

She had her 4 month check-up today and ranks in the 75% for her Weight, Height, and Head!

Her stats are: Weight: 15lbs 3.5 oz
Height: 25 in
Head: 16.5 in

She also had four shots today which were tough on both of us! Thanks to some Tylenol she is sleeping soundly tonight!
