January Happenings

In January.......Patrick took Cooper to a Sun Devil game for a little boy's day together
the kids enjoyed our beautiful weather with popsicles out on the wall of our patio

Patrick went hunting out of town with his Dad, brother, nephews, uncles, and friends so the kids and I went out to dinner one night. I brought activities to keep them busy.

I bribed them all weekend with good behavior since I was solo, so Monday night they got to open their gifts. The girls got LOL dolls that they had been dying over and Coop got another Paw Patrol figure.
the girls had fun opening all the layers and activities to get to their doll
Our school hosted a casino night to raise money, and we all had a little too much fun!!! It's one of the best nights of the year!
Caroline started selling girl scout cookies door to door (Patrick takes them to school too and typically sells 500-600 boxes......hungry high schoolers are the best customers!)
one night we set up a table on the corner of our neighborhood and Caroline and Shannon did really well drawing in the customers!
a friend's skating party was a HUGE hit for Caroline's first time skating!

Happy Birthday Lily!
the girls in their skates and matching socks, so FUN!

The very last of December

The day after Christmas we headed up north for a fun day of sledding. The first part of our day was a bit of a disaster.....sledding park full, getting our new car stuck in the snow, hungry kids......BUT after a yummy lunch at our favorite burger spot we regrouped and found some fun places to sled and build a snowman

thanks to this Daddy for pulling all the sleds

iI's so nice to be able to drive such a short ways and be in a completely different surrounding. We love Flagstaff!
The next day Grandma and Grandpa arrived to spend the week with us. Their gift to the kids (along with new slippers and robes) was a night a a hotel downtown with an indoor pool so they could swim and the gils could test out their new mermaid tails. They LOVED it! The hotel lobby had some cool gingerbread houses including the white house.
these three love Gma and Gpa
we went to Oregon Stop pizza one night since Gpa had never been before and its such a fun spot!

we took the kids down to the Fiesta Bowl parade and met up with friends

We were so lucky to be asked to join our friends at the game! They had awesome tickets and even better tailgating passes to the special VIP section! Such a FUN FUN day!

Stover Family Pictures 2016

We were blessed to have our photographer on vacation at the same time we were last summer so we took advantage and had her take our photos on the beach. I've always wanted beach photos, so was thrilled this worked out! MelissaYoungPhotography.com is the best!!!
