A Very Charleston Easter

Halfway (Almost)

Tonight we had our 20 week ultrasound (a few days early) and our little baby is right on track! We cannot believe in 20 weeks or less we will have 2 little blessings in our lives! We feel so so lucky! We could have found out the sex tonight, but again chose to wait.....BUT I have a STRONG feeling that this little bundle of joy is a BOY! We will soon see if that Mother's intuition means anything (I was right with Caroline)! This last week has been tough with a new bout of nausea, but exciting too because I have been enjoying feeling the baby move!

Little guy or girl, we cannot wait to meet you!

Behind

I cannot believe I am so behind.......I meant to blog last weekend's pictures, and here we are at another weekend! Last weekend was so fun, but unfortunately not many pictures to prove it! (I struggle with being present at events sometimes because my nose is behind a camera, so last weekend I put it away and enjoyed it!) Friday Night Patrick and I had a LONG OVERDUE (first one of 2011, CRAZY) date night and we hit up a pizza joint we have wanted to go to for a while now. It was delicious! We hoped to go see a movie too, but there was nothing good playing. Saturday afternoon we went to a really fun pirate party and then to our friend's Mike and Jamie's house for dinner. Sunday we just relaxed!

Chug-A-Chug-A-Choo-Choo!

The first of our many parties was yesterday afternoon and it was so fun! Our good friends' little guy turned 4 and they went all out with a Train Park party! here is the "party car" all set up for fun the super cute cake!

Mama's March Madness

For years Patrick has encouraged me to enter sports pools......this year all that betting came to fruition! This March Madness had "one shining moment" for me.......coming in SECOND out of 100 people in the Basketball Pool! Who knew UCONN would carry me through to the finish...GO Huskies! I am so excited to take my $500 winnings and head down south to spend the weekend with my best girlfriends! I have been busy this month trying to get our blog books up to date (I started with our first book three years ago and went summer-summer for books one and two). For this third book I wanted to finish out the year (last summer to the end of the year) before the baby arrives. The reason is these books will be given to our children when they are older, so I wanted to finish out our time without baby #2, since for the next book I will need to print 2 copies!

here it is in all its glory (seriously these books are some of my very favorite things in the world.....it is so fun to look back on all of our special moments)!

Since #2 will be here before we know it......

I also started the baby's baby book this month (I loved Caroline's so much, I purchased the same one again)

it is filled with the best pages, these contain how we broke the news to our loved ones, and when I first felt the baby move (3/31) etc....

I have also been buying and wrapping like crazy, lots of birthday parties this month!

We are getting ready for Easter and our trip, and I found the coolest thing! Caroline loved her advent calendar (duh, who doesn't love chocolate every day) and I found one that counts down to Easter!
