more Christmas
After Christmas we met up with some old friends of my parents (Rick and my Dad went to high school together). The Monte's and our family used to get together every Christmas in Ohio, so it was fun to be able to all get together in AZ (such a small world that they live here now!)
After all the fun of Christmas was over.......we got to DO IT AGAIN with Paige and Tommy when they arrived!
Their first night in town my parents watched the kiddos so we could go out for a nice dinner.....we ended up at a new restaurant in town.....and we started off with a BACON board, YUM!
Christmas Time is just not official until we go have a drink at the BEST CHRISTMAS BAR ON THE PLANET: Coach House (every square inch of walls and ceiling are covered in wrapping paper and lights)
Caroline and Paige had a little nail and make-up party
oh this big fella.....so squeezable!
wouldn't these two look cute with three kiddos.........
one night after dinner we roasted smores on our front patio
getting all doll'd up to go out on New's Year's Eve..... (our first time out on this night in a few years:)
We had drinks at the top of the casino overlooking the city then headed into old town to eat dinner and then our good friend's bar to have some drinks, listen to the street concert, watch the fireworks, and of course toast to 2014!

Caroline got the ELSA one she wanted and Scarlett got Anna's dress. ***We went to see the FROZEN movie 2x over the holidays, and have listened to the Frozen soundtrack and the songs on Youtube no short of ONE BAZILLION times!!!
P and I got Michael and Joanne bleacher seats to keep their bums warm and comfy during all of those football games they will be attending for the next 3+ years!! Go Shamrocks!

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve we went to Mass at 4:00PM and then headed back to our house for a fancy dinner! We always pick a theme for Christmas Eve dinner and this year in light of all the tragedy and triumph we chose BOSTON STRONG as our theme. The menu consisted of fresh rock shrimp, clam chowder, lobster tails, ribeyes, salad, potatoes, and a Boston sticky toffee pudding dessert.....it was delicious!
our Christmas Baby (who isn't much of a baby anymore :(
the kiddos in front of the tree
oh this attitude is going to give us a run for our money!
Patrick and I
Mom and I
the girls
Laura with her nieces
all the ladies
Smokey and Laura
the most delicious and beautiful potatoes on earth
at Caroline's birthday party the girls all made reindeer food to sprinkle outside for the reindeer while Santa did his "work", so after dinner we sprinkled it outside before bed
after the Reindeer Food we read The Night Before Christmas
Then it was time to leave cookies and milk (and a beer) for Santa, then it was one last check on NORAD to see where Santa was, then off to bed so Santa could arrive!!!!!!
Santa leaves three gifts for each kiddo (they get so much from family, we are trying to make Christmas's affordable and not ridiculous as kid's get older and gifts get more expensive!)
Caroline REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted a baby carseat WITH a CANOPY......he delivered!
Scarlett is OBSESSED with SHREK and asks to watch it EVERYDAY, so Santa did good here too!
and lil Coop got the crowd favorite gift.....a rocking pony that sings
even Mom's, Dad's and Grandma's and Grandpa's got some goodies too!
Santa didn't leave without a little bite to eat and some milk/beer to wash it down!
