 Our little family turned over a new leaf yesterday, we started Saturday morning sports! I know this is just the beginning of a long run of years full of running from one kid game to the next! Caroline did great in her first ever soccer game and even scored a goal! We are so proud of you for trying something new and doing your very best Caroline!

parties galore

Last weekend we had so many fun festivities to attend! I went to a bachelorette party Friday night and the girls and I went to two kiddo birthday parties on Saturday (the first was a school friend of Caroline's). The second party was at the Little Gym and we were so excited to celebrate our dear friend's twin boys Asher and Colton. The girls were in gymnastics's heaven!

Look who's SEVEN months old today...

 NUMBER 7!!!

You are crawling everywhere, love to eat (mama is done feeding you so just formula now, and LOTS of baby food (6 jars a day!), started feeding yourself cheerios, puffs, waffles, pancakes, crackers, and pizza crust, wear 18-24 month clothes (YOWZERS), a size 4 diaper, go so fast in your walker, are sitting up, talk all day long (especially when you eat!), and are ALWAYS ALWAYS smiling! We love you!

P-P-P-Progress

 So we have been in the house about two months now, and slowly but surly we have been working to make this house our home. The first room that seemed to come together was our family room, mainly because we already owned all the furniture and accessories to decorate it. 

 We had our TV's hung in this house, it is super nice having them high enough to avoid little fingers! We are also LOVING our plantation shutters!

 the very first painting project I took on was the kiddos bathroom

 I have been wanting an ombre room for a while now, and I LOVE the results!

  I took down those awful big standard bathroom mirrors, and replaced with two smaller white ones to match the beachy feel

 the girls hairbows seem to multiply daily, so to keep them in check I loaded them into some extra glass bottles we had and lined them up by color in the little niche in the kids bathroom

 the two opposing walls in the sunroom, I love the color and southern touches! 

 the laundry room is getting a bright make-over as well

 Cooper's room will be nautical, with three blue walls....

 and the last wall being blue, navy and white striped

 I scored two beds (complete with headboards and footboards, and rails) on Craigslist for a STEAL (thanks Hubbie and FIL for driving a million miles to get them for me!) and can't wait to refinish them in a fun color for the girl's room! 

So....that's where we are now, lots done, loving the extra room and pool, and LOTS of fun projects in the works, as well as lots of fun decorating projects for the future! One day and dollar at a time!

Scarlett's sweet birthday

Scarlett does not turn two until Tuesday, but this weekend we celebrated our sweet girl with an Ice Cream themed party. I made ice cream cone cupcakes, which were a big hit with the kiddos!
