First Day of School
Girl's Day
So.......way back when (the weekend after 4th of July) Caroline and I had a special girl's day together. We started the day with a few errands, and a Starbucks run for two fun drinks! Then we headed to LuLuLemon so I could finally use my Christmas Gift certificate from Patrick. Caroline was a super great help in picking out the perfect outfit. As a reward for her help we hit up the local candy store SMEEKS as our next stop! Then it was on to a girl's lunch...and to wrap up the fun day we went and got our toes done (Caroline's first time)! It was such a special day with my girl, I can't till Scarlett is bigger and I can spend the day with both of my favorite girls!

Fourth of July
We started out our day with red white and blue pancakes and then headed to Paw-Paw's house to swim and eat ribs, what's more American then that!?!? We are so thankful to all those who protect and serve our country!
our three little firecrackers!
Scarlett loved the Independence of her new puddle jumper and also loved eating watermelon (I think she ate half of it herself!)
Coop and Daddy
Don't be fooled by Caroline in this tube....she has become quite the good swimmer and spent much of the day going down the slide and swimming to the side all by herself!

Boxes and more boxes
So no pictures or excitement from yesterday and today (Saturday and Sunday) because ALL we have been doing is PACKING!!!!! We have renters moving into our current home August 1st, and we don't get our keys for our new home (since seller rented back from us for a bit) till July 17th....so we are trying to pack up now to be prepared for the big move!!!
So for those of you (ahem...Grandma and Grandpa) who want to see pictures of the kiddos, here are a few from my phone that our babysitter has taken over the past few weeks when she has been over sitting!

our week in pictures
Sunday we hit the resort pool and then, after coming home to take naps and clean up, we headed out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant by our house. The girls did alright at dinner so we decided to take them out for dessert at a new little ice cream sandwich place. It was a neat little spot where you pick 2 cookies from a large variety of homemade cookies and then they fill it with the ice cream of your choice!
Monday was our good friend Jim's birthday so we met up with his entire family, at Portillo's, to eat a delicious Chicago meal and celebrate Jim! All the kiddos loved running around together, we were SO that family with the crazy kids!!!!
Patrick has been doing great with all three kiddos solo during the day while I have been at work, here is one of their many ventures out and about!
He has been filing their days with lots of activities to keep them busy and wear them out! The museum, splash pad, and outdoor water table and popsicles are big favorites!
Caroline went to vacation bible school for a few hours every day this week, and she LOVED it! They had a super cute around the world theme and each morning they had little passports that got stamped with a different country. They had lessons on saints from the country of the day, coordinating activities, snacks, and music time! On Friday they had a little end of the week performance. Caroline was front and center on stage and sang her little heart out, it was really cute!
Friday night we went over to Caroline best friend Halle's house for swimming and pizza. They have a diving board and by the end of the night Caroline was able to jump off and swim to the side by herself!!! We are so proud of her and so excited about all the fun we will have in our new pool!!!
