April and May

Whew April's over and May's quickly slipping away! Here's our April and May round-up! 

these two cuties were helping us get ready for the Kentucky Derby! 

C man's face is healing nicely from his first round of stitches

we took the kiddos to the ASU spring scrimmage game, they loved being in the stadium and dancing to the pep band

we even got pictures with Sparky!

We have been swimming all month! AZ is so gorgeous this time of year!

Aunt Laura and I took the girls to a cute production of Flat Stanley

Caroline's school had their HUGE school festival and it was a really fun day!

this is Caroline's darling 7th grade buddy, she is just the sweetest kid ever! 

Patrick worked a few hours serving sandwiches in the afternoon while we headed home for naps

we wrapped up a fun day with a few sweet treats! 

Cooper came home with a few more bumps and bruises.....this kid!!!!

My work partner treated me to the spa, she's the best! 

Patrick ran the Tillman run and came home to grab us so the kids could run the Tillman kid's race....all three ran THE WHOLE TIME, they did great!!! 

Since the girls did so great selling cookies the Girl Scouts were treated to a fun treat....they voted on Build A Bear! They made the sweetest little Girls Scout Bears.

Life seems to move faster and faster.....but it's also more and more fun!!

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend! Saturday morning started off a bit rocky though....we had our first trip to the ER for stitches. I was home with the kids while Patrick golfed and ran a few errands while we waited for some friends to come over to play. When we got home from the grocery store the kids were playing while I unpacked groceries. They love to play "pillow pit" which means throwing all of the couch cushions and pillows on the floor and jumping onto them. Clearly having a little boy at home has changed the dynamics in our house! Well.....I heard a thud and ran to find a bleeding boy. He split his cheek open and ended up needing 5 stitches. Daddy ran home to take him to ER and he was a great little trooper! 

Later that night we had family over to watch basketball, eat, and dye easter eggs.

Cooper loves trains and blocks....so train blocks it was!

Caroline's best friend has a ball pet, so she's been eying one

the Easter bunny brought sunglasses for their summer adventures.....and mama went a bit nuts on their summer wardrobe! Mom and Dad got them super cute new Natives (like crocks but much cuter!) summer pajamas, and lots of cute outfits for summer and all of our trips!

Caroline was super excited to get the movie Annie (we listen to the soundtrack EVERYDAY)

then it was time to see if the Easter bunny left any easter eggs......so awesome having grass in the yard instead of rocks this year!!

after baskets and egg hunts it was time to get dressed for Mass.....the real reason we celebrate Easter!

after church it was time to come home and bake dessert for Easter dinner.....a bunny cake (sugar free pistachio) that the kids decorated

after baking and some rests we headed to Aunt Laura's house to celebrate with the whole Stover family. (most of them anyway:)

 Cooper must have hauled bags back and forth for two hours! 

 and our biggest sat sweetly and organized eggs for a long while

 Paw-Paw recently got back from New Orleans and surprised us with fresh pralines.....DELICIOUS!!
