This and That

 Tomorrow marks 2 weeks since we have become a family of 5. We have been busy learning the ways of a baby boy (so far the biggest difference is the speed at which you need to change a diaper, and how often you need to change them...BOYS pee A LOT and not Down like we are used to!) and are loving how our family feels with Cooper in it. The week we brought Cooper home we had Paw-Paw and Aunt Laura over to squeeze on Cooper and to try our newest culinary addition to Phoenix...a Portillo's Restaurant (the Italian Beef and Chocolate Cake did not disappoint!). Scarlett is her mama's girl, she loves sweets, and could not eat her cake fast enough! 

 Caroline and Scarlett's indifference to Cooper at first has definitely disappeared! Now both girls want to hold him all the time, Caroline asks to see "CoopE" the minute she wakes up, loves to pick out his outfit in the morning, and can't wait to show him off to her teachers and friends each day. They are both very sweet and gentle with him, and so far no jealousy issues. 

 Last Sunday the Snell's came over to bring us another gift (they already sent the cookie basket to us at the hospital), bring over BOY hand-me-downs, and meet Mr. Cooper. Asher and Colton were so excited to see "baby Tooper" and the kids all had a big ole time playing together! Later that evening our friend's Jim and Jen brought us over dinner......We are so so lucky to have such sweet friends! 

 Today (yes, finally....don't judge me!!) Cooper got his first official (non sink) bath! He really seemed to like it, and once he was all clean, dressed and fed, he passed out for three hours! Guess we will be taking baths more often :)
