Get ready for picture OVERLOAD! After five months of not being able to figure out what was going on with my computer, I finally got it straightened out! October was a FULL month, as always!
We are loving our weather and having some fun neighbors down the street that we have gotten close with. (We also love their fun toys!)
These two cuties (Cooper and Evy) hung out during a Girl Scout meting.
Patrick and his buddy Jim got tickets to go to the Ryder Cup in Minnesota so while they were there Jen and I took the kids up North to their cabin. The weather was absolutely beautiful and it was nice to get to enjoy the changing leaves for a change! We spent a lot of time at the park and a lady even asked us while we were there what daycare we were from! HA!
we brought our bikes up this time which was super fun
a little game of red light green light
tree climbing
snuggles
it's never a complete trip without a trip to the Fire Station
more tree climbing
man, those colors!
the kids made homemade play dough
and we set up a scavenger hunt one afternoon
lots of treasures were found
we made some fun snacks
and as always, we were sad to see our fun weekend up North end!
Scarlett started Ballet/Tap in the fall and we got to observe her for the first time.
she is one mighty cute little ballerina
and tapper too!
My best girls are all spread out and we don't meet up near often enough, but when we do its the best feeling in the world. It's like coming home, those people that know you the Very best and no matter the time apart, when we are together it's like we never left. This trip landed us out west for the first time, in Denver! We had the best time together.
Natalie and Claire and I await the other two
YEAH!!!! the gang's all here!
oh those pretty mountains
We were surprised with two bottles of champagne awaiting us in the fridge when we arrived (Patrick was so sweet to coordinate with all the guys to surprise us)
and Natalie got us all little surprises too
Natalie was in charge of the hotel and she did the BEST job. Our two bedroom chalet was in a great location in Breckenridge and was the perfect setup for lots of drinks and relaxing while we chatted the nights away by the fire.

After we checked in we headed to the on site restaurant for some drinks and apps and to enjoy the beautiful view
We heart you Breckenridge
Then it was off to dinner downtown
the next morning we woke up early to go on a long hike, the colors were amazing!
the views just kept getting better at every turn
almost to the top
I love these people so very much
at the bottom of the hike was a beautiful lake
We spent the afternoon shopping around and then hit up a brewery for a late lunch
Saturday Night we decided to order in and just relax by the fire
Sunday we hit up a great brunch and said goodbye to Claire, BOO.
Sunday night we drove back into Denver for some shopping and another fun dinner out
It was a much needed trip together and one that fills me until the next one! They are always too short though!
While I was gone for four days Patrick kept the kids busy. One night they headed over to watch James play football
The littles with Paw-Paw
can you say: TOO MUCH FUN
the kids had off school while I was gone so a friend kept the kids for me and took them on a super fun day to the train park
When I got back Monday I grabbed the kids and we all went to the movies
Scarlett looks so smart in Aunt Laura's glasses
the girls went to a fun birthday party for a friend at a obstacle course/trampoline park
and the Girl Scouts earned a badge at Peter Piper Pizza seeing how pizzas were made and even got to play a few games
this year as brownies we have gotten to do some really fun things!
A friend gave Caroline and I her tickets to go see The Sound of Music Together, it was a wonderful show and a really special afternoon with my first.
Patricks school celebrated senior night during one of the Volleyball games and these three ladies got to call out all of the players, SO FUN!
WHEW! that was October.....now to catch up on Halloween!
