15 months

Caroline went for her 15 Month check-up/shots on Friday (yes, I am aware that she is 16 months old) and I wanted to record what she is up to these days!
Stats
Weight 25 lbs 11 oz (75%)
Height 31.5 in (50-75%)
Head 19in (90-95%)
Attire
Caroline wears size 4 diapers, size 18-24 months clothes (and a few 2T), and a size 6 shoe.
Health
Caroline has been really healthy this last month, and our follow up with the ENT reassured us that her tubes are lookin good. She still has eight teeth, but has started cutting her top and bottom 2 molars (which thank goodness don't seem to bother her much). She had a bout with eczema a few months back and now we keep it under control with Aquafor and some perscription creme.
Toys
She still LOVES to read and has started becoming more independant and will read for 10-20 minutes alone in her room. She loves to pull things around, especially the toy Uncle T and Paige got her for Easter (she also loves to fill in with stuff). She is quite the organizer, and loves to take things out of drawers and put them right back.
Eating
Caroline is still a great eater and her favorites are blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, watermelon, oranges, carrots, green beans, string cheese, cheese puffs, and hot dogs. She has also started telling us when she is hungry by trying to climb up into her highchair. She still like to cheers glasses, and now when we say dinner prayers she puts her hands over her face and makes some noises (we are working on AMEN at the end of that!)
Sleeping
She has been sleeping through the night like a champ! *We finally weened her off the bottle, and the first few nights were ROUGH, but now nights are glorious. She still takes a long morning nap (about two hours), but the afternoon nap is happening less and less. She is also really attached to her two blankies now (more so the pink one, but ideally she likes the pink and the white bear one).
Words
so far she says: Heisman, Dadda, Mama, Hi, (she aslo puts Hi with Mama and Dada, my very favorite), all done, bye-bye, Ba-Ba (her bottle, now her cup) and hot dog.
Other stuff
Caroline loves babies and dogs and points whenever we see them (if babies are in their carseats she loves to squat down and just stare at them). She loves being outside and when you say the word outside she races to the front or back door and starts jiggling the handle. She says the word Heisman a million times a day and loves being kissed by Heisman, she also loves playing in the dog's water dish. She waves to everyone coming or going, and blows kisses. When you say open and shut she will open and close her hands. She loves to find her belly button (we are working on the rest of her body parts). She likes to lay on her tummy and kick in the bathtub. She LOVES to climb! We have decided church cannot happen without the nursery, and she does pretty well there. Also this month, we decided NICE restaurants are out with Caroline, it is just not worth the money since one of us is normally chasing afer her (we found a list at church of some young affordable babysitters, so hopefully more date nights on the horizon!).
Working On
more body parts, shapes, colors, numbers (counting), finding things in books (ex: where is the birdie), and brushing her teeth.

projects, books, and bows

Tonight I completed a project for a friend and enjoyed the fact that my little girl is starting to be very independant, and likes what she likes........Baptism banner
I think it turned out pretty cute!
Caroline sat in the rocking chair and read herself books for a solid 20 minutes tonight....
.....but insisted she do so with four bows in her hair! what a mess she is!

7-1

Yesterday Smokey turned 71, so of course we went out to celebrate! My crappy camera, plus serious dark mood lighting did not equal a good recipie for pictures, so here are the two that turned out!
