Weekend Wrap-Up

Whew! What a fun weekend we had! Caroline and I went to the Library on Friday night after work and picked up a few books before closing time.We had so much fun we went back to the library on Saturday to play with some new toys, explore the tunnels, do puzzles, make some new friends, and of course get some more books.
On Saturday night P and I went out on a date to Houston's-YUM!
Sunday, I took Caroline to the water park at the Lake and it was packed, so we packed up and headed to OUR park, and the ole faithful was empty!

Yuma Boys

The Yuma boys (aka Caroline's 2 biggest cousins) are in town, so yesterday we headed to Nana and Paw-Paw's house to swim. AND.....the countdown is on, only 20 MORE DAYS till Patrick's oldest brother returns from IRAQ! Yahoo! OK, We are off to do more swimming and visiting! Patrick and Caroline in the pool

Mommy's Drink

Lately Caroline has become VERY observant and wants to do everything we are doing. Friday, when I got home from work I had a big drink from the gas station and she would not let up till I handed it over! She thinks she is so big drinking out of straws these days!

Where's my baby?

Today was one of those days when you say "GOSH, where did the time go??" Our baby has very quickly become a little girl. Tonight I took Caroline to her first swim class and she did really well. We sang the wheels on the bus, a popcorn song, the hokie pokie, learned how to float on her back, how to get out of the pool, and how to scoot down the wall. She loves the water and the teacher was really impressed. Caroline we love watching you grow, but wish we could slow down how quickly it's happening! Car and I before class

We are also starting to potty train Car and while we have not had much success, she does love to sit on the potty!

G and G go WILD

While I spent a relaxing weekend with my girlfriends Caroline spent the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa! They had a really fun weekend swimming in the pool, eating at lots of fun restaurants, and even went to the zoo! Thanks G and G for entertaining our baby girl, I don't know who has more fun on these special weekends, you guys or her! Gma and Car in the monkey cage
