I am the leader for Caroline's Daisy troop, and at our last meeting the girls went through their ceremony to either become a new GS (for a few that just joined us this year) or be awarded a pin for completing their first year of GS's. Another important part of our night was taking part in our first service project. A friend of mine is in charge of the Child Crisis Center and asked us to make cupcakes for their Halloween party. We promised them 24 dozen, a HUGE undertaking! We frosted and decorated them and then got to taste one for all of our hard work! It was A LOT of work but we are happy to be teaching our children the importance of giving back.
