For my birthday we were lucky enough to get to spend the weekend in NYC with some of our favorite people! We arrived late on Thursday night and crashed at the hotel with Tommy and Paige. We woke up friday morning and we were ready to hit the town! First stop was a delicious brunch, then onto some shopping!
We checked out Chelsea Market and then headed to the rooftop at Eataly for a few drinks
That night we went out for a delicious dinner, went to see Finding Neverland on Broadway (so so good) and then ended the night at Serendipity for a Frozen Hot Chocolate (YUM!)
We were so so excited to drink these!
We also hit the High Line on Friday before dinner!
Saturday morning we woke up up and met friend's of Tommy and Paige's and headed over to the World Trade Center Observatory. The views were amazing.
Then we headed over to the World Trade Center museum
We also walked by the memorial fountains, it's just heartbreaking.
I love this quote on the memorial wall
After an emotional morning we headed down to Brooklyn/Coney Island to watch Jimmy play in the semi finals!
It was so great to FINALLY see him play in a professional game, and cool to see Coney Island in the background!
Here he is!
of course getting to see these two was just as exciting!!! Cuties!
Patrick and Tommy
Paige and I
They won!!!! Horray!
After the game the players with kids come grab them to run around the field, so cute!
The brothers
My mom, dad, and a bunch of other family were there......such a super fun day!
We HAD to swing by the famous Nathan's shop after the game!
Then we headed to dinner with all of our family! My mom's dear friends the Hardy's joined us too.
This sweet family of four announced that they will soon be a family of 5......SO Exciting!
I love this guy and am so proud of him!
I ended the night being sung happy birthday by my people......what a very special birthday!
The next morning we met back up as a family for brunch and walked the High Line again before we needed to head to the airport.
It was so special getting to spend so much time with these two.....we can't wait for them to be a threesome in March!
We got on a plane Sunday night and arrived home to a sweet sign for our kiddos! Getting away is a special treat, but we certainly love to come home to our favorite three people too!
35 was a birthday to remember.....bring on another great year!
