This year for the Fourth of July we decided to check into a local hotel that is known for going all out for the holiday. It was one of the best decisions ever! We checked in early on the morning of the Fourth and it was awesome from the minute we got there. In the lobby the kids got to meet these amazing Transformer robots and interact with them, got fun sunglasses to wear for the weekend,
and got festive cupcakes, all before we even checked in!
Our room was not quite ready so we changed into our swimsuits and headed to the pool. It was super crowded, but we found a chair and headed to the waterslides! The kids spent most of the day on the slides and taking part in the dance parties and kids activities. We got ready for the airshow and parachuters with a little ice cream treat.

The air show consisted of 32 planes and was so awesome!
At about 4 we hitched a ride on a golf cart to our room to get ready for the nights festivities
BUT not before a little jumping on the bed and a long nap!

It was so amazing to be able to walk out of our hotel down to the lawn, watch a fun Micael Jackson preshow and then an awesome fireworks show, and then walk back to our room for bed!
We woke up the next morning and headed down to the pool and it was completely empty! We had the whole place to ourselves for the next two days, it was awesome! The kids even took an art class in the kid center and got to do some cool 3D simulations.
We had a wonderful, relaxing, fun few days! We will definitely be making this a tradition!
