The Night Before

So tonight is the last night I will ever be a mama of two. I am super excited to meet out new little bundle of joy, and a bit anxious too. I don't think I will be getting much sleep tonight. You can tell this is our third child because while I drive to the hospital in the morning to start my induction, Patrick is going to work. We figured it would take a while, so no use us both sitting around (Scarlett took almost 24 hours to come once induction began!) but never fear he is a quick phone call away if things speed up! I am trying to soak up the last night of feeling this baby move in my belly, since it will most likely be the last time.
Please keep us in your prayers that our baby arrives safe and sound (and that it is pretty pain free for me would be a great prayer too:)

There will be lots of sweet baby pictures to come!

Valentine's Day 2012

check out the valentine's Caroline and I made for her class and her cousins this year! She can't wait to hand them out to all her friends at school tomorrow!

behind on blogging

I finished up work last week and have been relaxing (AKA trying to get a bunch of last minute stuff done before baby!) as we await #3's arrival. We had been thinking it would not be so bad to have this baby a bit early, but we learned this weekend that my FIL's very best friend of 50 years passed away suddenly and the entire Stover clan (minus us of course) are headed to Vegas (where he and his wife retired) to celebrate his life this weekend. Needless to say, please keep his family in your prayers as well as a prayer for baby to stay put till our support system returns to AZ!
These past two weeks we have mostly been holed up at home catching up on rest while we can, and trying to nurse Miss Scarlett back to health (and sleeping through the night) after her second round of ear infections. Caroline and I did get out for a girl's day last weekend with Aunt Laura to go see Rapunzel and have a little lunch and shop, so fun! Last night Patrick and I went out to dinner to celebrate Valentine's Day a little early to beat the crowds and have one last night out without the kiddos. We went to our very favorite restaurant, Houston's, and enjoyed a multi-course meal courtesy of a Christmas gift card from my SIL Joanne and BIL Michael, Thanks guys!

Saturday Stroll

Saturday was just about the perfect temperature, around 75 degrees, a slight breeze, and sunny! So our little family packed up to head to the lake to watch Caroline ride her new bike and to explore the new bridge in our town over the lake. It was the perfect little afternoon!

getting ready

So the nesting is in full swing and I am happy that things are slowing getting crossed off the list! This weekend Caroline and I put together little gifts for the nurses (I did this when we had Scarlett too, and the nurses really appreciated it!) to ensure baby and I receive the best care possible! They are little baggies filled with candy and a tag that says:
We've been blessed with this SWEETIE and it only seems right..
to thank you for helping our baby arrive all right!
I have said this before but when it comes to my kiddo's teachers, or hospitals, or anyone in charge of taking care of us, I am not above doing little things to be the favorite :)
I also purchased and wrapped up Big Sister gifts for the girls for the new baby to give them at the hospital! They include activities to keep them busy and entertained like toddler markers, magic paper, and books for Scarlett, and for Caroline pop beads (she can make into animals or jewelry), and a few sticker puzzle books.

exactly three weeks from today (although there is some talk of getting induced early, so maybe sooner)!

We can't wait to meet you little one!

Thank you G and G!

We got our Valentine package yesterday, and we LOVE all of our special goodies! The shirt and necklace went on Caroline immediately and Scarlett loved her M&M's the best! Thanks for always being so good to us Gram and Grandpa, We Love You!
