Last night we had the entire Stover clan over for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner. Since my sister-in-law so graciously cooks Tom Turkey at her house every year, we have the annual pre-dinner the night before since typically everyone is in town. This year we had the entire crew, minus one very integral member, and in spite of our missing her, we had a fun night of food, Christmas trivia, and lots of laughter.
I built a menu around these darling pumpkin bread bowls I ordered: chicken tortilla soup, chili, and salad.

the kid's pumpkins were in the center of the table since their plates held these fun place-cards: pumpkin cookies!
and of course much of the kiddos evening was spent in Car's room playing with all of Patrick's mini helmets! (whenever all the cousins are at our house they look forward to the big tub of helmets coming out of storage!)
